The cost of following Jesus is by forgetting about yourself,your riches onthe land and following Jesus.(Matthew 8:21-22).It is by separating yourself from all the worldly desires eg.worldy relationships, money and other things that are of this world. Leaving the riches of this world is another cost of following Jesus, you put Him first and ahead of all your needs.Jesus Christ is the example we are following for He put us first in His life by dying forus on the cross of Calvary.(Matthew 19:16-23)The word says the love of money is the root of all evil.
The first commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart,with all your soul and with all your mind.(Matthew 22:34-39).When you love God it means that everything and anything that you do is put God first above all.
